Endoscopic research

First, our team did an endoscopic research at the rig. With this type of research it has been made possible to discover any problems without the necessity of opening the gearboxes. This leads to big time- and costs-savings. Several parts of the jacking system have been repaired or replaced, based on the findings of this research.

Overhauling

Our team has overhauled several parts of the jacking system in our workshop, witnessed by Class (DNV), to get them recertified. Other parts of the jacking system have been replaced by completely new parts from our stock. Because of the smooth cooperation between the customer and our facilities, combined with our hardworking mechanical team, this project was completed in recordtime. The project as a whole was completed in only one month time.
